Join Our TeamPersonalised and collaboratively planned to support each individual’s unique goals and communication needs. Speech Pathologists use their expertise to select and adapt approaches based on evidence and the individual’s strengths, preferences, and communication needs. This may include less structured play based therapy, parent training and coaching, or specific programs such as the Lidcombe Program for Stuttering or Sounds Write for literacy.
Prior to the commencement of therapy, an assessment is conducted by a Speech Pathologist to gain a comprehensive understanding of an individual's communication abilities, strengths, and challenges. Assessments are tailored to different conditions, age groups, and ability levels, and the Speech Pathologist will carefully select the most appropriate tools to gather meaningful insights and ensure a well-rounded understanding of the individual’s needs.
