OUR PHILOSHOPY

What does “client- and family-centred means"

We believe that when families are involved and informed, therapy outcomes are stronger and more lasting.

  • Involve families and support people actively in the therapy process.
  • Take time to understand each person’s goals, preferences, and communication priorities.
  • Provide clear, ongoing communication about therapy progress and next steps.
  • Support parents and carers with strategies they can use at home and in daily life.
  • Respect cultural backgrounds and individual values in planning therapy.
OUR ASSESMENT PROCESS

A Thorough, Step-by-Step Assessment Journey

Step 1
Inquiry & Questionnaire

Once you contact us, we will discuss your needs and provide you with an initial questionnaire to complete and return. This helps us gather important background information right away and allows us to prepare appropriately for you rassessment. You will then be placed on our assessment waitlist.

Step 2
Assessment Appointment

Your assessment will take place in our well-equipped clinic and will include a combination of standardised tests, clinical observations, and professional expertise, all tailored to your individual profile.

Step 3
Analysis & Reporting

Following the session, your Speech Pathologist will carefully analyse the results and prepare a comprehensive written report with detailed findings and recommendations.

Step 4
Follow-Up Consultation

Once your report is ready, we will offer you a free 30-minute consultation to review the findings and discuss next steps, including therapy options if appropriate.
